How we came to be…..

Plants & Prisms was started as a way to help people achieve their indoor plant dreams without the heartache of failure. I have always been a plant lover, they just bring peace and joy into this crazy life. And a lot of times have immediate rewards. Which is something I like because, let’s face it, I’m not very patient.

My journey with plants started long ago but as life got full I found myself having more trouble caring for them. Having soil brought on many problems, root rot, pests, too dry, not enough nourishment. It was a time that, with so many other life experiences happening, I couldn’t keep up with solving the problems. That’s when I started leaning into water-based plant care. It seemed to eliminate most of the problems and the plants were thriving. It was a win-win.

I started with just any containers I could get, old jars, plastic yogurt cups….. Literately anything a cutting would go in. I have evolved over the years and now seek to make my space filled with pretty unique and vintage looks. Not to mention my plants roots love their new homes! If I have felt like an upgrade I’m sure others do too! So I have come up with Plants & Prisms as a way of sharing the unique and vintage items I find with all plant lovers.
